Giving Thanks for Dreams

Another thing I am thankful for is having dreams and living in a time and place where dreams come true. I am a day dreamer and brainstormer. I am always thinking about what-if scenarios and the possibilities for my future. I am thankful that Aaron also has dreams and that he is pursuing them.

For awhile now Aaron has played with the idea of becoming a personal chef. After helping to open a restaurant in San Diego, we moved to Sacramento and Aaron has not been happy in job opportunities he has found. This prompted him to get the ball rolling on a personal chef adventure. He developed the concept for Dude Food, created the entire menu and set up a tasting and sampling event in order to get the word out. df logo

I love being a part of his dream and being able to help him with the marketing, design and social media efforts surrounding the business. A huge thank you to my friend Alex at Hyphen8tion Studios for helping us with the logo and business cards. Thank you, Alex!

I am so lucky that I have people in my life who are supportive of my dreams and I am happy to do the same in return. Whether it be a race, a new career or going back to school, I have a great group of family and friends who are always right there by my side to support and encourage the journey.

What dreams do you have for your life and your future?

I want to go to Africa and work as a nurse. I would love to get married and have children. I want to climb a big mountain. I would love to go and sleep in a grass hut on a beach for a week, with daily massages. I would love to own a kitchen aid.
