New Favorite Green Monster

I love me a green monster and have been enjoying my original recipe for weeks now. This week I got to try a new recipe since we had leftover juice from Easter brunch. It knocked my frickin’ socks off, so I had to share.

– 1/2 banana
– 2 big handfuls of spinach
– 4 frozen strawberries
– 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
– 1/2 cup fat free milk
– 1/4 cup cranberry juice
– 1/4 cup orange juice

The small amount of juice made the smoothie taste so fresh and bright – perfect for warm spring days. The result isn’t very green, but the spinach is still there, along with all of its benefits. Enjoy!

    Okay I am trying this thing tomorrow morning before my run. The spinach grossed me out, but I am just going for it now! I’ll let you know what I think…

    I swear – you cannot taste the spinach. It grossed me out too. Just make sure you never make one without the banana. The banana hides the taste of the spinach. Can’t wait to hear how it goes.
